At Hurst Construction & Fabrication, safety is a core value embedded into every phase of our work. We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, subcontractors, clients, and the public. Our goal is simple: every job completed safely, every person home safely, every day.

Our Safety Philosophy & Management Commitment 

Safety at Hurst Construction & Fabrication starts with leadership and is reinforced at every level of the organization. Management actively supports and enforces our safety program by integrating safety into project planning, execution, and supervision while providing the resources necessary to ensure safe work practices.

We believe that all incidents are preventable, and we continuously work to identify, mitigate, and eliminate risk across our operations.

Leadership, Training and Employee Qualification 

Our safety program is led by a designated Safety Manager responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of company-wide safety initiatives. Supervisors and foremen play a critical role in the field by enforcing safety policies and procedures, conduction jobsite safety meetings and inspections and ensuring compliance with company and client site-specific safety requirements. Safety accountability is shared across all levels of the organization, creating a culture where concerns are addressed promptly and responsibly.

Our employees receive safety training tailored to their job responsibilities and work environments. Training programs include, but are not limited to:

• OSHA 10-hour training for applicable employees
   
• OSHA 30-hour training for supervisory personnel
   
• Confined space entry and rescue
   
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
   
• Fall protection and task-specific training
   

Ongoing training ensures our workforce remains qualified, informed, and prepared to work safely in demanding industrial environments.

Industrial & Power Plant Experience

Hurst Construction & Fabrication has extensive experience performing maintenance, repair, and outage work in operating power generation and heavy industrial facilities. We understand the importance of coordinating work activities with owner operations while complying with strict site-specific safety requirements. Client references are available upon request.
